To our partners and customers,

The COVID-19 outbreak is affecting every one of us on both a personal and professional level. There is significant uncertainty in all of our daily lives, and in the markets at the moment. Despite the situation, I have confidence that we will all be able to rise to this challenge.

The safety and well-being of our team, our customers, our suppliers, and our partners is our number one priority during this difficult time, and I wanted to share some measures we are taking to ensure that all remain safe and healthy during this time. Please also know that Converge remains operational and ready to support you across the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore during this time.

Remote working and meetings:

Last week, Converge shifted to remote working on a company-wide basis. Our team remains contactable via phone or email, so please do not hesitate to drop us a line at hello@converge.io. The exception to this are particular members of our hardware engineering and operations team, who will continue to work within our office in central London, to ensure deliveries and collections are not interrupted. We are taking all precautions to ensure that our London office is safe for those team members, and expect these activities to shift to remote working within the week as well.

For the foreseeable future, we are moving as many of our customer meetings online as is feasible. This includes all face-to-face meetings and site visits except where it requires the physical presence of an implementation engineer.

Support and site visits:

We appreciate that most construction projects will continue unless government guidelines stipulate otherwise and we want to minimise any risk to onsite workers. Our implementation engineering team will continue to take call-outs to sites in the UK to support you if a physical visit is necessary and critical to your business operations. They are taking all necessary precautions to remain safe during this time and avoid contagion. If the visit is non-essential, we remain at your disposal over video calls so please do not hesitate to get in touch at support@converge.io or on +44 20 3808 3115.

Supply chain & logistics:

Converge’s supply chain spans the UK, mainland Europe, and Asia. We will continue to fulfill customer orders as usual, and I wanted to thank all of our supply chain partners who are working hard to help ensure the proper production and supply of our products to construction sites around the world. Please be aware that there is a risk that in the near future for new project orders and deliveries, we may experience increasing lead times due to limited production and border crossings. We have taken several steps to mitigate this, but we do suggest allowing a longer lead time for any orders over the coming months.

Converge in the next year:

Converge has recently raised a significant equity investment round to deliver the next generation of products to our customers, and shift the construction industry towards increased efficiency and sustainability by digitising the physical world on the jobsite. We are grateful to all our shareholders who have been incredibly supportive of our vision for the future of the industry. Our healthy balance sheet means we can continue to drive this transition during this difficult economic climate. Our roadmap includes the development of many new data products and AI-based tools to create a digital twin of construction, which we believe will have a profound impact on efficiency and sustainability. We remain on track to deliver on this vision, and are excited to be doing so in partnership with our customers over the next year.

We appreciate that this is an uncertain time for many of our customers, and we are committed to providing you with the most support possible during this unprecedented time. We are truly grateful for your support and partnership during this outbreak, as we all face this challenge together.
